About Osceola County National Day of Prayer Task Force
In 1999, God planted a dream in the heart of Mrs. Bertha Chase to see Osceola County humbly bowed together in reverent prayer and jubilant worship before God, and she began the work of making that dream come true for His honor and glory.
Our NDP of Osceola Task Force, Inc. is a locally based, non-profit, non-denominational group of volunteer members. Our purpose is to encourage participation in the Annual National Day of Prayer on a local level. We exist to communicate the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create and disperse appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Osceola County Christian community to intercede for America's leaders and its families.
We are a diverse group of believers who have agreed to set aside what might divide us in order to collaborate in unity to honor God. We allow individuals within the Task Force to use their talents, voice their ideas, and to become involved at whatever level of responsibility they are able to. We treat each other with utmost respect and value the opinions and giftings that we each possess as individuals.
As a group, we agree with the mission statement and beliefs of the national organization, and work in obedience to the guidelines set forth by the National Day of Prayer organization headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO and chaired by Mrs. Shirley Dobson.
Come Join our Team! If you agree with our Mission Statement and would like to be a part of our growing team and represent your church on this task force helping to mobilize prayer for Revival and Spiritual Awakening in our community, then WE NEED YOU!
