The Revolution

On November 27, 2005, a small group of students met at a local park in St. Cloud and The Revolution was born.  The 15 students represented 8 different churches from around the area.  They were united with one vision and purpose, which was to untie the local youth groups, starting with prayer.  They believed that when the church unites, God will work in greater ways than can be imagined.

They prayed for The Revolution.  They prayed for each other.  They prayed for their churches.  They prayed for God to fill them with His Spirit.  They prayed that God would use them and move in big ways.   They prayed for their political leaders, spiritual leaders, revival in their churches and schools, and they prayed for a spiritual awakening.  They visited churches in the area just to pray for them.  Their hearts desire was for people to know God and make Jesus their Lord and not just their Savior.

Pockets of Prayer

God is moving many youth in our county to prayer.  God is moving people to pray because He intends to move.  There are pockets of student prayer warriors meeting Monday through Thursday before school at each of the local High Schools. There are pockets of student prayer warriors meeting in the middle schools. There are teachers who walk around their campus interceding for their students. There are many teachers committed to begin their day in prayer for their students. There are FCA groups that meet weekly at the school's flag poles in addition to their weekly meetings. There are teachers from around the county who meet monthly to pray. We know that God is moving a great number of people to pray for His kingdom to come, and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven!

We hope you are encouraged to realize the pockets of people praying for God's kingdom to come and His will to be done on this earth, in our generation!
